About The Position

This individual excels at troubleshooting with a sense of urgency, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure consistent high-quality outcomes while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Requirements
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required
- Experience in cutting, grinding, or fabricating steel structures
- Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and safety protocols
- Exceptional tape measure skills
- Diligent with great attention to detail and learns quickly
- Safety Oriented and conscious
- Must be able to walk, stand, use hands to handle tools, reach with arms, kneel, stoop, crouch, and talk and hear in noisy environments
- Must be able to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 51 lbs independently and occasionally lift and move objects up to 100lbs with the assistance of team lifts.
- Ability to Commute/Relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81501: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of structural steel welding experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- AWS welding certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Welding of steel and light gauge cold form using mig welding process
- Follow all safety protocols including wearing PPE and required PPE at all times. Required PPE is defined as gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. Additional PPE, such as hard hats, flame-resistant clothing, hearing protection, face shields, respirators, etc, may be required depending on the specific tasks being performed or the work area.
