Coin Operator
About The Position
The Coin Operator is responsible for ensuring the quality of the product processed, using proper shipping dunnage for packaging, and communicating part quality concerns to production and/or quality supervision. This role also involves the containment of suspect or nonconforming product. Key duties include inspection of product per Control Plan requirements, packaging of product in customer-approved dunnage, recording production data, and creating bar code labels for product traceability. The operator is authorized to shut down processes producing discrepant material, manage the disposal and recording of dispositioned scrap, and complete job-specific check sheets to demonstrate compliance with visual and dimensional specifications. Additionally, the role requires the proper operation of the coin press to ensure associate safety and part quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
