About The Position

Delta Star Inc. is seeking an entry-level Coil Winder I to support coil production while developing skills in winding techniques, tools, and quality standards. This role involves performing basic winding operations under supervision while learning production processes and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic understanding of coil winding processes.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 70 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Must be able to use fall protection equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Wind assigned coil types under supervision
  • Use winding tools and measuring devices
  • Assist with mandrel setup and cable spool prep
  • Support coil handling, unloading, and pressing
  • Perform cleaning and prep work
  • Assist with minor rework
  • Use test equipment when trained
  • Complete DIRs and documentation
  • Inspect work with guidance
