This position is responsible for directing the activities of associates during a specific shift and overseeing that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained. The role involves training, creating work schedules, evaluating performance, preparing reports, and acting as a point of contact for employee concerns.

Requirements

3 years of prior experience as a Barista
3 years of prior supervisory experience

Responsibilities

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Provide training and create work schedules.
Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
