About The Position

The Patisserie Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Manager on a daily basis by keeping them informed of changes and updates with the associates. Duties will include but are not limited to taking, filling and executing food and/or beverage orders, greeting and assisting guests in accordance with Nemacolin standards, supervising the floor in conjunction with the store manager. The Supervisor must ensure that stock levels are correct and maintain store cleanliness in addition to providing exceptional customer service to Resort guests. They should have knowledge of all food and beverage offerings and will assist with making suggestions on food and beverage. The Supervisor should be able to communicate well with guests in addition to associates and members of management.

Requirements

  • Food and Beverage experience preferred.
  • High school graduate
  • Knowledge in Micros
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate grooming standards according to organizational policy.
  • Need to have had previous cash handling experience and interact efficiently with guests and associates.
  • Must be able to work under stress and be a team leader.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Have a mature and confidential manner in dealing with the public along with enthusiasm for Nemacolin.
  • Must be able to speak English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders into point of sale system.
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage in a timely manner.
  • Supervise the floor at all times
  • Assist the store manager with any coaching or disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Stock, clean, greet & engage guests and customers.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the products and services offered at Nemacolin.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, OSHA regulations, and health and safety guidelines
  • Operating Point of Sales system as needed.
  • Balancing Micros reports and cash deposits.
  • Leading and participating in departmental meetings and training seminars.
  • Act as a role model for associates
  • Assist the management in store merchandising and product placement
  • Complete all paperwork in accordance with Nemacolin standards
  • In the absence of the store manager, ensure that the daily operations are run in accordance with established standards
