Join our team as a Production Technician – Roaster and play a key role in producing the high-quality coffee our customers love. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you'll operate roasting equipment, monitor roast profiles, maintain quality standards, and ensure every batch meets our commitment to excellence. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you'll combine attention to detail with technical skill to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Whether you're experienced in manufacturing or looking to grow your career in coffee production, we'll provide the training and support to help you master the roasting process and build your expertise. Requirements
- A hands-on, detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for coffee and craftsmanship.
- A dependable team player who takes pride in precision and quality, and is comfortable working independently.
- Adaptable, motivated, and always eager to learn something new.
- Someone who values safety, collaboration, and doing things the right way—every time.
Nice To Haves
- A strong interest—or prior experience—in the coffee industry (barista, roaster, or similar) is a plus.
- Prior experience with Caribou or Peet's Coffee is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate roasting and grinding equipment to meet daily production schedules.
- Maintain top-tier quality and food safety by following all QC checks, documentation, and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with your team to meet goals safely and efficiently.
- Communicate equipment or process issues to the appropriate departments for quick resolution.
- Take ownership of cleanliness, maintenance, and continuous improvement at your station.
- Taste, evaluate, and refine—participate in cuppings and sensory sessions to keep every roast true to its profile.
- Participate in development opportunities to grow your technical roasting and production expertise.
