About The Position

Caffeinated Coffee Repairs services commercial espresso machines, brewers, grinders, and water systems across the South-Central and Pacific Northwest United States. Our technicians work independently in the field, backed by a team that handles everything except the actual repair work. This role requires someone who is handy, curious, and genuinely likes coffee, and can figure out why a machine stopped working and fix it.

Requirements

Comfortable using a multimeter and basic hand tools.
Experience with home electrical work, plumbing repairs, or hands-on projects.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Smartphone capable of running required apps.
Secure address for parts deliveries via FedEx and UPS.

Responsibilities

Perform two to three service calls at commercial coffee locations (cafes, hotels, hospitality accounts) daily.
Measure voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity with a multimeter.
Trace faults through electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
Identify thread types and outlet configurations, fabricating adapters as needed.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment carefully.
Look up part numbers in parts diagrams and machine documentation.
Write accurate, professional, and error-free service notes.
Keep time and tickets organized in ServiceTitan.
Communicate repair findings to customers clearly and professionally.
Taste coffee after each repair to verify the machine is calibrated correctly.
Assist with parts receiving and inventory counts.
Handle basic vehicle maintenance such as changing a flat tire or bringing the vehicle in for scheduled maintenance.
