This position involves completing opening and closing duties, which include setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and securing the premises. The attendant will set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Responsibilities include inputting orders into the cash register system, collecting payments, taking orders, preparing food and coffee beverages, and ensuring appliances are operated correctly. The role also requires bussing coffee cart areas and tables, cleaning dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day, and obtaining the necessary change for expected business levels. At the end of the shift, the attendant must count the bank, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, submit receipts, and secure the bank. Additionally, the attendant must follow all company and safety procedures, report any accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete safety training. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and developing positive working relationships are also key aspects of the role. The position requires welcoming and assisting guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, and thanking guests with appreciation. Communication should be clear and professional. The role involves reading and visually verifying information, inspecting tools and equipment, and performing tasks that require physical stamina such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. It also includes moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds, manipulating objects with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, and navigating various spaces including confined or elevated areas and stairs. Reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors must also be performed.
