About The Position

This position involves completing opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises. The attendant will stock and maintain work areas, input orders, and process payments. Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing food and coffee beverages, managing appliance usage, bussing coffee cart areas and tables, and cleaning dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day. The role also requires obtaining necessary change, counting the bank at the end of the shift, completing cashier reports, resolving discrepancies, submitting receipts, and securing the bank. Additionally, the attendant must follow all company and safety procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete safety training, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and provide excellent guest service according to company standards. This includes welcoming guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking them with appreciation. The role requires clear and professional communication, developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and adhering to quality standards. Specific physical requirements include reading various formats, visually inspecting equipment, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, manipulating objects with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, moving through confined or elevated spaces, using stairs and ramps, and reaching overhead and below the knees with bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable duties may be requested by supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customer.
  • Take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages.
  • Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate times.
  • Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
  • Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day.
  • Obtain change required for expected business level.
  • Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
