About The Position

Emplify Health by Bellin is seeking a Coding Specialist, Ambulatory Services, focused on podiatry. The position performs tasks associated with coding patient encounters and collaborates with providers and other health system departments as needed to perform coding functions. It is full-time at 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week), located at 2020 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, Wisconsin. The work schedule is weekdays, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• An associate degree in medical records technology, health information technology, or a related field accompanied by applicable coder experience, or three to five years of applicable coding experience.
• Current certification, or eligibility for certification with certification obtained within six months of hire. Listed credentials include RHIT, CCS-P, CPC, CCA, or CCS.
• Experience with CPT and ICD-10-CM.
• Knowledge of insurance coding requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Decision-making skills.
