Requirements

  • Perform multi-specialty quality reviews as deemed necessary by leadership to include audits and edits as quality issues/concerns are identified (facility, coder, procedure, other operational statistic, provider, query, etc.).
  • Perform regular multi-specialty auditing on EM/UC/Observation and HM based on criteria specified by leadership.
  • Assist global partner team in all areas as needed including but not limited to questions, edits, facility issues, quality concerns, system/CAC issues, providers, etc.
  • Communicate with other departments within RCS and SCP for pending items that require their assistance.
  • Provide guidance, education, and feedback to partner as it relates to auditing, coding, and policies/procedures for all service lines.
  • Maintain a working relationship and communicate any coding and training issues to the Coding Senior Partner Auditor and/or Supervisor/Manager of Coding and Quality Services.
  • Be a point of contact for majority of daily communication between SCP health and their team, ensure they receive all necessary information and address all questions/issues.
  • Document training/education communication provided to the global coding partners.
  • Comply with HIPAA requirements in relation to all chart activities.
  • Comply with current ProCode policies and procedures.
  • Attend appropriate professional and educational meetings.
