About The Position

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Our mission is to provide high-quality behavioral health services in an environment that values service excellence, respect, and ethical standards, integrity, compassion, and teamwork.
Roxbury is currently hiring a full-time Professional Coder and Medical Records Clerk. This is a Monday thru Friday position.

Requirements

• Registered Health Information technician certification or Certified Professional Coder certification or equivalent is REQUIRED
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, with one year of coding and/or medical records experience preferred.
• Experience with 3M encoder, Excel and MS4 are a plus

Responsibilities

• Chart assembly, chart analysism coding.
• Computer abstracting of all discharged patient medical records
• Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly
• Retrieving charts from the floor
• Putting them together
• Checking for missing signature
• Handling loose filings
