About The Position

This role is for a Code Welder/Fabricator in the industrial equipment industry, located in Schenectady, NY. The position involves welding in an ASME environment for pressure vessels, boilers, and components. This is a direct hire, on-site role.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with ASME code welding SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, and/or GTAW processes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Ability to operate a fork lift and cranes safely.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurement and material requirements.
• Must be able to pass an ASME code-compliant welding test which includes 3g stick and flux core weld.

Responsibilities

• Welding in an ASME environment for pressure vessels, boilers, and components.
• Completing a weld test.
