About The Position

CMC, an Associa company, is hiring a Code / Covenants Inspector for its community in Laurel, MD. The Code / Covenants Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for HOA violations pertaining to maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings. The Covenants Inspector will use their own vehicle; however, mileage will be reimbursed.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management, time critical prioritization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must have reliable transportation as well as a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to community sites to conduct walk throughs and site inspections.
  • Ensure HOA Rules and Regulations are followed, and maintenance is being done property.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints.
  • Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
  • Take notes, document findings, submit reports to GM and Board of Directors, follow-up to ensure violations and maintenance concerns are corrected.
  • Other duties as assigned.
