About The Position
Under general supervision, performs technical work in the investigation and enforcement of City codes, ordinances, and abatement regulations; performs related work as assigned.
Requirements
- Equivalent to graduation from high school.
- Two years of experience in code enforcement, compliance, public administration, investigative research, municipal operations, or a related field that involves interpreting and applying regulations, conducting research, or providing direct public service and enforcement support.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment, a California Penal Code Section 832 Certificate.
- Possess and maintain a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
