About The Position

This is a full-time position at a casino, focusing on providing prompt, pleasant, courteous, and efficient service to guests. The role involves utilizing alcohol awareness training, verifying legal drinking age, completing side work, and ensuring the work area is prepared for the next shift. The goal is to offer unique service while maintaining professionalism to encourage guest return.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Prior serving experience required.
Must be able to obtain & maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
Must have alcohol awareness training and be certified.
Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk during shifts.
Must be able to move around in small spaces.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Excellent guest service and communication skills.
Ability to handle money and make correct change utilizing a POS system.
Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality.
Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Always display a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
Capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease.
Possess effective learning skills.
Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Give prompt, pleasant, courteous and efficient service.

Anticipate all guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
Verify legal drinking age of guests.
Complete all side work duties and ensure work area is prepared for succeeding shift.
Offer a unique service while sustaining a level of professionalism that encourages guests to return.
