About The Position

Responsible for beverage service to guests in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
• Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, bar equipment, POS, cash register.
• Ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
• Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work all shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stressful situations.
• Must be at least 21 years old to work on the Gaming Floor.
• Must be 18 years old to work in the Mahogany Sports Bar.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior beverage experience is preferred.
• TIPS certified (training will be provided if not).

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests, communicate orders accurately and deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare drink orders when Bartender is not available.
• Actively observe guest alcohol consumption, signs of possible intoxication and enforce company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Develop and maintain positive guest relations through helpful and interactive guest transactions.
• Stock bar items, fill ice bins, empty garbage, mop floors, clean bar mats and coolers to keep them clean and orderly.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
