About The Position

This role is responsible for making and serving beverages to customers in a prompt and courteous manner. The position also involves answering customer questions about casino operations, maintaining a positive image, and performing all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. The bartender/cocktail server will also monitor customers for intoxication and alert appropriate personnel if necessary.

Requirements

Demonstrated cocktailing experience, preferably within hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment.
Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
Demonstrated experience problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
Graduation from High School, or the equivalent in education and experience.
One (1) or more years of recent and related cocktailing experience, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment.
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
Decisions are limited to within the scope of essential duties.
Twenty-one (21) years of age preferred.
Colorado Limited Gaming Support License required for this role.
Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Successful completion of alcohol awareness training.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety procedures and by using safety equipment.
Serve customers with beverages in a prompt and courteous manner to encourage purchases.
Answer customer questions about casino operations and consistently act to provide a positive image.
Develop, maintain, and enhance positive relations with customers and team members.
Wear and maintain all uniforms properly.
Perform all duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
Alert supervisor of any concerns regarding the quality, selection, and variety of food and beverages.
Comply with established security policies and procedures.
Monitor customers for intoxication, discontinue alcohol sales, and inform security and key on duty.
Alert Key on duty and security regarding customers that may be difficult or possibly violent.
Maintain the cleanliness of the casino, including emptying ashtrays and returning drink glasses to the bar.
Verify Jackpots with slot attendants (as needed).
Get change for customers from the cage (as needed).
Cover for bar staff (as needed).
Report to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work.
