This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer weeks of paid on the job / shadow training. The hours during training will be 7:00 am - 5:00 pm CST, Monday - Friday. Duration for training is based on the individual candidate and their needs. More details on the training will be discussed further during the interview process by the hiring manager. As a COBRA Inventory Manager, you'll be a key part of a team that helps ensure members receive timely communications, accurate billing, and seamless account support. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Word (creating documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, sorting, and data entry)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm CST.
  • It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming and outgoing customer communications, including mail, email, fax, and system-generated notices
  • Process payments, account transactions, and electronic files to support accurate and timely COBRA administration
  • Prepare, scan, index, and maintain documents to ensure records are organized and accessible
  • Monitor shared inboxes and communication channels, ensuring inquiries are routed and addressed promptly
  • Support payment reconciliation activities, including cash posting and balancing daily transactions
  • Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and operational records to support reporting, audits, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient operations
  • Help keep the team running smoothly by supporting inventory management and special projects as needed
  • Utilize internal systems and Microsoft Office applications to manage daily work activities
