Requirements

• At least 1-3 years of splicing and sweeping
• Comfortable working on a ladder or a bucket truck
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes
• Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record

• MOS Codes B05A, 3D157, 6423, B05A, 5699 relate well to this position.

Responsibilities

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable
• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity
• Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers)
• Read the CATV telecommunication design and prints
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites
• Upgrade the existing plant, plant extensions, and new building construction.
