In this role, you will be at the forefront of our brand-new hot melt calender line, operating advanced machinery to coat, laminate, and process high-quality materials. Requirements

• Strong attention to detail

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• ACT WorkKeys Skill Assessments required: Applied Math: Level 4, Graphics Literacy Level 4, Workplace Documents Level 4

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, extrusion, web handling, laminating, or calender operations

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperature gauges, pressure settings, and line speeds to ensure the hot melt adhesive applies perfectly.
• Load raw materials (web substrates, polymers, adhesives) onto the line and thread them through the rollers.
• Inspect finished products for defects, measuring thickness and bond strength to meet strict quality standards.
• Identify and assist operator to make minor mechanical or process adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and perform basic preventative maintenance on the calender rolls and equipment.
