About The Position

Do you enjoy hands-on work, have an eye for detail, and take pride in producing quality work? Join the manufacturing team at Domico Med-Device as a Coating Operator and help produce high-quality medical device components through painting, coating, and finishing processes. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn a variety of manufacturing techniques, including using industrial spray guns, screen printing, and applying coatings to foam and carbon fiber components. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attendance and dependability
  • Good attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to perform hands-on, repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Willingness to follow established safety procedures when handling paints, coatings, and related materials

Nice To Haves

  • Previous painting, coating, or spray gun experience
  • Experience with industrial spray equipment
  • Screen printing experience
  • Experience painting or finishing foam, carbon fiber, or similar materials
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience
  • Experience using measuring tools and following detailed work instructions

Responsibilities

  • Completing painting, coating, and finishing processes
  • Using industrial spray guns to paint and coat components according to specifications
  • Applying paint and coatings to foam and carbon fiber materials
  • Performing screen printing on components as required
  • Preparing materials and surfaces for painting and coating
  • Following work instructions and established processes to ensure consistent results
  • Inspecting finished parts for coverage, appearance, defects, and overall quality
  • Measuring and verifying components as needed to meet specifications
  • Identifying quality concerns and communicating issues to the appropriate team members
  • Handling materials, paints, and coatings according to established safety procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Working closely with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals
  • Learning additional manufacturing processes and equipment as needed
