Coating Operator (Day Shift)
About The Position
The Coating Operator will perform multiple tasks including inspection, cleaning, masking, grit blasting, Glass Bead peening, and coating of components. This role involves the application of plasma HVOF and requires the ability to use hand tools and measuring devices such as micrometers and Dial Indicators. The operator must be able to follow and act on written and verbal job instructions, reports, technical manuals, and data. Responsibilities also include operating coating booths, practicing good shop safety, monitoring tool and equipment calibration, and inputting process data into the system. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of previous Thermal Spray operation experience
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to successfully communicate with others
- Ability to follow material control processes

- Ability to operate fork trucks
