Requirements

Proficient at operating a blasting nozzle.
Know proper blasting pressures as they relate to specifications for any particular part(s).
Ability to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging.
Knowledge of how to read and understand prints.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Understands warping of parts along with acceptable roughness measurements and how to take such measurements.
Appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality.
Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areas.
Employee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Resurface and texturize customer supplied parts using a spray nozzle as specified by work order instructions.
Prepare surfaces by selecting appropriate media and settings based on material type and desired finish.
Blast parts with some deposition and surfacing parts to specific specifications.
Understand and follow operating procedures to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts.
Work closely with other departments regarding reworking and communication for incoming/outgoing parts.
Interact with other blasters regarding jobs that require more than one person to complete.
