Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to follow written/oral directions and instructions
  • Ability to accurately interpret blueprints
  • Ability to accurately interpret work in-process documents
  • Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Lean skills continually drives process improvements
  • Team building skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous light/medium industrial experience
  • Basic computer knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing

Responsibilities

  • Dry honing components
  • Blowing out internal cavities of parts with air
  • Stripping old coating off parts in nitric acid
  • Clean tanks and screen per Chromalloy specifications
  • Masking part surfaces using tape, wax, etc
  • Operate plating tanks and XRF machine
  • Follow and utilize Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Accurately maintain/document log books
  • Correctly document travelers after operations have been performed
  • Maintain, implement and improve 5-S Principles
  • Sustain production standards and quality
  • Perform general departmental housekeeping
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is required
  • Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
  • Ensures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements
  • Adheres to all Company safety standards and requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
