About The Position

AEIS is seeking a skilled and motivated Coating Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of coatings applied on construction materials by performing inspections based on NACE standards. The Coating Inspector will prepare detailed reports, identify any issues or deviations from specifications, and collaborate with contractors to resolve them in a timely manner. This role requires a hands-on, problem-solving approach, the ability to manage tasks independently, and a high level of organization and professionalism.

Requirements

• NACE Level 1/ 2 certification required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
• Proficient in creating and managing electronic documents, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Well-organized and able to manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
• Capable of identifying and addressing issues quickly, especially when dealing with contractors.
• Comfortable engaging in difficult conversations when necessary to ensure project quality and compliance.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1-10 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in coating inspection or a related field is highly preferred.
