About The Position

The Coater Inspector is responsible for the inspections of products to maintain and achieve quality throughout the department and ensure that first-quality shipments are sent to our customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quality-related field and/or textile industry preferred
• Computer proficiency and data entry skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English; bilingual preferred.
• Must be able to walk, stand or sit for long periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspection of product for any type of defects
• Repair of minor defects, appropriately holding or downgrading material with quality issues
• Analyze defects and identify correctly through the understanding of defect types and codes
• Participation in testing and conducting meter checks daily
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and efficiency in demonstrating exemplary productivity.
• Check orders and tickets for correct information
• Communicate within appropriate departments on the quality of carpet.
• Keep the supervisor appropriately informed of all problems and issues of concern.
