About The Position

This position is responsible for the conformal coating and bonding of assemblies. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform coating operations such as masking, unmasking, and touchup. Use assembly specific documentation, including routes, bills of material, and prints to process a variety of backplanes. Work with chemicals such as IPA, acetone, urethane, coating materials, etc. Understand and follow all process control specifications. Perform in-process inspections with a clear understanding of acceptance and rejection criteria. Actively participate in continuous improvement work. This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends. Comply with department specific safety rules and general Amphenol policies. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 25 lbs. safely.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and ability/flexibility to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship.
  • Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).

  • Current IPC-A-610 certification preferred.
