About The Position

Coaches lead clients through 50-minute, full-body, low-impact classes using resistance-based machines. They are responsible for educating clients on machine usage, empowering them to push through challenging workouts, and providing support and motivation to clients of differing skill levels. Classes are small, allowing for personalized attention and accountability in a group setting. Coaches are expected to embody the [solidcore] brand and culture, create a welcoming and inclusive fitness space, and interact with clients and the fitness community. All coaches must complete [solidcore]'s comprehensive and selective training program, which provides individualized support and feedback. Prior fitness teaching experience or certification is not required. Team members demonstrating passion for the brand have opportunities for growth within the rapidly expanding company.

  • Comfortable on a mic leading a fast-paced class with loud music and a lot of energy in the room.
  • A minimum of fifteen hours of weekday availability per week (Mon-Fri).
  • Ability to coach a minimum of six classes, approximately nine hours per week.
  • One full weekend day per week availability.
  • Ability to coach a minimum of three holidays per year: One summer (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day); One winter (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day); One pre/post (Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior fitness teaching experience or fitness certification is not required.
  • Prior group fitness experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
