About The Position
The Rivers School, a co-educational independent day school serving grades 6-12 in Weston, MA, is seeking coaches who are passionate about extending the school's mission of "Excellence with Humanity" into the athletic setting. The school offers a variety of coaching opportunities for individuals to contribute their knowledge, enthusiasm, and team-building strategies across different sports. Coaches will be involved in tryouts, team selection, scheduling practices and games, and participating in athletics department meetings to enhance the student-athlete experience.
Requirements
- Healthy communication skills
- Experience working with students in an athletic setting from grades 6-12
- Strong organizational and motivational platforms
- Enthusiastic approach to development and growth

Responsibilities
- Help with tryouts and selection of teams
- Make all practice and game schedules
