This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves planning and implementing a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, diverse backgrounds, and abilities of students. The coach will assist in establishing curriculum objectives, creating a conducive learning environment, and guiding the learning process. Responsibilities include employing appropriate instructional methods, assessing student accomplishments, diagnosing learning strengths and weaknesses, and counseling with colleagues, students, and parents. The coach will also assist administration in implementing policies, planning assignments for support personnel, and using technology in teaching. Maintaining accurate records, performing Medicaid administrative claims reimbursable activities, adhering to the Code of Ethics, supporting school improvement initiatives, recognizing indicators of student distress or abuse, and establishing an appropriate testing environment are also key duties.
