About The Position
Equinox is seeking energetic, driven, and enthusiastic fitness professionals to join their team through the Equinox Coaching Foundations Program. This program offers a comprehensive pathway for individuals passionate about inspiring others and pursuing a career in Personal Training. The program is a hybrid, two-week learning experience designed to help aspiring Coaches earn their ISSA Certified Personal Trainer (ISSA CPT) credential, with Equinox covering all certification costs, including study hours. Upon successful completion and passing the ISSA CPT exam, participants will be promoted to a full-time Coach position.
Requirements
- Ability to complete the 2-week Foundations Program.
- Commitment to pursuing a Personal Trainer/Coach career with Equinox.
- Strong passion for fitness, coaching, and growth.
- Ability to work in person on weekdays and weekends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management, organization, and basic computer proficiency.
- Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful.
- Must have a legal right to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Complete all coursework, workshops, assessments, and study requirements within the 2-week program timeframe.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of ISSA and Equinox Coaching Foundations content.
- Apply principles of exercise science, coaching communication, program design, and client assessment.
- Uphold Equinox brand standards and deliver exceptional member experiences.
- Continue professional development as you transition into the Coach role.
