About The Position

Supports the Head Coach in conducting the boys lacrosse program and the overall athletic program. Assists the Head Coach in ways that benefit the entire program and follows the overall approach established by the Head Coach. Develops and guides a specific team within the program as assigned. In the absence of the Head Coach and First Assistant, if any, assumes the responsibilities designated for the Head Coach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in conducting the lacrosse program and the total athletic program.
• Remain loyal to the coach and team and conform to the overall program approach established by the Head Coach.
• Assist the Head Coach in a manner that benefits the entire program.
• Develop and guide a specific team within the total program as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Attend meetings requested by the Athletic Administrator or Head Coach.
• Cover scouting trips requested by the Head Coach.
• Assist the Head Coach with checking in all equipment at the end of the season.
• Assume the designated Head Coach responsibilities when the Head Coach and First Assistant, if any, are absent.
• Abide by Athletic Department policies and operating procedures.
• Perform other coaching-related duties as directed by the Head Coach, Athletic Administrator, or Principal.
