About The Position
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Information This position requires a 12-hour night shift from 1900 to 0730, including weekend rotation. The candidate must participate in the call rotation and be prepared to take one call shift per two-week period as needed based on staffing requirements. We are seeking experienced Critical Care RNs with a background in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) who are also willing to cover the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). The facility operates two Catheterization Labs, one of which is a Hybrid Cath Lab. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within the community, allowing patients to receive care close to home. Newly remodeled studio and small one-bedroom apartments are available for staff within close proximity to the facility. These accommodations include Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry, and are fully furnished, making for a comfortable living arrangement during the assignment. Participation in holiday coverage is required for all staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of RN Critical Care experience required.
- Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience.
- Flu vaccination is mandatory from October 1st through April (no declinations accepted).
