About The Position

On site-Fall Semester-minimum of 20-25 hours during normal business hours Responsible for assisting the Risk Management Department in the areas of safety, environmental, regulatory compliance, claims management, risk transfer, and loss analysis. Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a major/minor in the areas of insurance or risk management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Tracking incoming certificates of insurance for O’Reilly business partners.
  • Reviewing claim deductible reimbursement invoices for accuracy.
  • Providing notification of automobile accidents to various insurance carriers for purposes of subrogation pursuit.
  • Generation and distribution of various reports.
  • Conducting data analysis for purposes of identifying claim frequency and severity trends.
  • Assisting safety team with administering the “How Am I Driving” program.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the corporate property insurance statement of values.
