About The Position

This is a paid intern opportunity for individuals currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to gain meaningful, hands-on experience at a HealthTech company in Plymouth, MN. The role involves supporting packaging projects with cross-functional teams, prioritizing workload based on business needs, and ensuring timely launches and business continuation.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Strong interest in medical device packaging and product development with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic understanding of packaging design principles and material science
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, testing, troubleshooting, spec creation and validation of medical device packaging to ensure product integrity and safety throughout the supply chain
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory, to ensure packaging meets all regulatory and quality requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.)
Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to recommend improvements to packaging solutions
