Co-op or Intern, Valuations & Modelling - Toronto - Fall 2026
About The Position
Our Toronto office is looking for a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Valuations & Modelling team from September to December 2026. This is a net new role and responsibilities will include: Assist in the preparation of the financial models used for the valuation; Assist in the preparation of detailed valuation reports and presentations to management; Participate in discussions and meetings with management of the companies involved; Analyze company and industry-specific strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to determine the cash flow risks of the companies involved; Research third-party databases for market, industry or comparable public company and private transaction multiples and other information for valuation purposes Manage multiple engagements to ensure successful and timely completion of client deliverables.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accounting focused post-secondary program with intention of pursuing the CPA designation
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in valuations and an eagerness to pursue the CBV designation
- Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas effectively in writing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize competing priorities with varying deadlines
