About The Position
Our Vancouver and Langley offices are looking for Co-op or Intern Students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team in January 2027 for a 4-month role. This role involves utilizing technical knowledge to prepare tax returns for various clients, contributing to tax compliance projects, building client relationships, and communicating effectively with team members regarding progress and issues.
Requirements
- Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting
- A desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- Proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Earn your CPA designation
Responsibilities
- Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from course to prepare tax returns for a variety of clients
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments per regulatory standards
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
