About The Position

This co-op opportunity will have a 6-month duration starting January 2027. Sanofi is an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth. We are looking for students to join us in various disciplines including Purification Process Development, Drug Product Development, Analytical Development, Molecular Biology, Biochemical Analyses, Microbiology & Virology, Medicinal Chemistry, Data Science, Digital R&D, Upstream MSAT, and Project Management (PMO).

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Genetic Engineering, Medicine, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacy, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Environmental Health & Safety, Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, Software Engineering, Virology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Physics, or related fields).
  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
  • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Responsibilities

  • Design processes that transform life-saving medicines from lab discoveries into treatments.
  • Shape the final form of medicines that patients receive, ensuring precision and safety.
  • Pioneer new testing methods to ensure medicines meet quality standards.
  • Decode the language of life using DNA, RNA, and protein analysis to advance gene therapies and precision medicine.
  • Analyze proteins and metabolites to understand and treat disease.
  • Ensure every medicine is free from harmful microorganisms and meets sterility standards.
  • Design and create new molecules that could become tomorrow's medicines.
  • Transform scientific data into insights that accelerate drug discovery using AI and machine learning.
  • Lead the digital transformation of pharmaceutical research, implementing technologies to make drug discovery faster and smarter.
  • Optimize biological processes that create life-saving medicines, ensuring consistent quality.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that bring new medicines to market faster and more efficiently.
