About The Position

Weston & Sampson is seeking an engineering student for our Summer 2026 Co-Op/Intern program. You will be working within one discipline but will be introduced to a variety of areas: civil, environmental, water, and wastewater. This position will be located in Reading, MA with occasional field work around the state.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
Work effectively in a team environment
Ability to effectively organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Must have a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Students with 2 years of coursework completed are preferred
Introductory knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and/or HydroCAD is preferred

Assisting the engineering staff with project related tasks
Data calculations
Research
Analysis
Design of plans and specifications for projects such as stormwater drainage improvements and green infrastructure
Construction services including field work
Climate Resiliency
