About The Position

FutureSight is seeking a Co-Founder & CEO to lead Veriflow, an AI-native denial management and revenue recovery venture currently being built at their studio. This is a co-founder partnership with meaningful founder equity, not a salaried executive role. The venture targets the mid-market segment within the $16B+ Total Addressable Market for AI revenue recovery, addressing a $7.5B–$10B whitespace. Currently, 30–40% of denied medical claims go uncontested due to a lack of staff and capital at practices, resulting in abandoned revenue. Veriflow AI aims to resolve denied and aged claims end-to-end using outcome-based contingency pricing, meaning practices pay nothing upfront and only pay a percentage of successfully recovered funds. The ideal customer profile is practices with $80K+ in annual recoverable claims. Market research indicates severe dysfunction, with practices building their own tech solutions and significant emotional write-offs due to administrative losses. An opportunity also exists on the payer side, where insurance companies are overwhelmed with contested claims. Veriflow aims to capture the mid-market with an autonomous agent, as well-funded competitors are focused on enterprise health systems with high upfront fees. FutureSight is a venture studio that co-creates software companies with entrepreneurs, providing resources, support, and a network.

Requirements

  • Direct exposure to healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or denial management.
  • Understanding of nuanced differences in denial codes.
  • Knowledge of why administrative denials are uniquely painful.
  • Intuitive understanding of fragmented systems used by billers (e.g., Tebra, eClinicalWorks, Availity).
  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS go-to-market, including sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency, with the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.

Responsibilities

  • Set the venture's direction and lead its execution.
  • Refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Lead pilots with practice owners and revenue cycle leaders, convert them to paid engagements, and build the go-to-market motion.
  • Partner with the FutureSight product and engineering team to ship V1 and iterate on user feedback.
  • Lead the seed raise, supported by FutureSight's network and traction.
  • Recruit and lead the founding team, and establish the cultural foundation of the company.
