About The Position

Our Client is an experienced CNO Software Developer to design and develop advanced hardware- and software-based CNO capabilities supporting mission-critical defense, intelligence, and national security applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and C/C++ programming, low-level system internals, networking, socket-level programming, troubleshooting, and CNO capability development.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming.
Bachelor's degree and minimum 7+ years of relevant experience OR minimum 10 + years of relevant experience if no degree.
Proficiency in low-level internals in one or more technology areas (Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices)
Proficiency with networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming.
CNO capability development experience.
Troubleshooting and debugging experience.
U.S. Citizenship Required: Due to the nature of this position and the requirement to maintain a U.S. government security clearance, only U.S. citizens are eligible.
Active, current TS/SCI with recent CI poly is required

Responsibilities

Design and develop new hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities.
Manage the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of application software and systems.
Apply expert knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, software security, and network technologies.
Develop software solutions that meet technical, security, performance, and operational requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and system issues.
Document software designs, development activities, testing procedures, and technical results.
Communicate project status, technical challenges, and progress with leadership and customers.
Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and other technical teams.
Ensure software development activities comply with applicable standards, processes, and quality requirements.
Support software testing, integration, validation, and deployment activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and technical solutions.
