CNO Developer
About The Position
MANTECH is seeking a mission-focused CNO Developer to join its team in Hanover, Maryland. The role contributes to developing mission-critical offensive cyber capabilities and advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) solutions to safeguard national security systems. The developer designs and develops hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities and performs software and systems design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging. The role applies networking and security knowledge, communicates technical progress to leadership and stakeholders, and ensures software quality and compliance with development standards. Applicants must hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph before starting if required. The position is onsite and full-time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of technical work experience, or master’s degree and at least 2 years of technical work experience, or high school diploma and at least 8 years of technical work experience.
- Experience programming in Python or C/C++.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging.
- Must have a current, active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph before starting, if required.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and socket-level programming.
- Experience developing CNO capabilities.
- Experience with low-level system internals across one or more platforms, such as Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices.
- Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering.
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible.
- Understanding of assembly language programming concepts.
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks and practices.
