The Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer (SVP/CNO) reports to the MGH/MGPO COO for operations and budgets and the MGH President for quality, safety, education, scholarship, and Magnet designation. This role collaborates with the senior leadership team to plan inpatient, outpatient, and community services, and to develop innovative clinical programs. The SVP/CNO focuses on the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of nursing care and the implementation of new care models. This leader shares accountability for the institution’s financial performance, patient satisfaction, and fostering a healthy, inclusive workplace. The SVP/CNO ensures that interdisciplinary, expert, and compassionate care is provided to all patients.
