About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. WS is seeking a CNO Analyst/Programmers who provide custom software design and development in support of Computer Network Operations (CNO) tools and techniques. This position that supports the full development lifecycle, from concept through testing, documentation, and readiness review, following established software development procedures. The analyst/programmer will design, code, and debug applications across multiple environments including Windows, UNIX, embedded, and mobile platforms. Work may involve development using Visual Studio, .NET, make files, or proprietary and open-source build environments. The role requires programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.

Requirements

  • Junior level: 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Mid level: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Senior level: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain CNO software tools and techniques.
  • Develop end-to-end data flow and tasking integration for CNO systems.
  • Author and maintain documentation in accordance with development standards.
  • Participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews.
  • Programs in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
  • Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET.
  • Build UNIX applications using make files or similar build environments.
  • Develop embedded or mobile platforms using GOTS, open-source, or proprietary frameworks.
