CNG Driver DOT WTX
About The Position
The position involves daily local driving between customer sites and the NexTier Pecos, TX CNG hub. This role requires safe transport of Compressed Natural Gas from hub compression stations to customer sites and the safe operation of a tractor & trailer to/from off-road customer locations. Responsibilities also include the removal and transportation of empty CNG trailers from customer sites to Hub locations, and the hook-up and decoupling of hoses to/from compression stations and pressure reduction systems. Pre/post-trip checks of operating vehicles are essential. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with Hazmat (H) and Tank (N), or X endorsement
- Minimum 2-3 year verifiable Class A trucking experience
- Must be a safety-minded, a self-starter, and a team player
- Ability to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employees to issue, receive and respond to both safety and operations-related directions in English.
Nice To Haves
- Prior oilfield hauling experience
- Experience transporting HAZMAT
