About The Position
We are hiring a skilled CNC Turning Setup / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC turning machines while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in CNC machining, the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs, and a stable work history. Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC turning (Setup/Operator role)
- Proven experience in CNC programming and troubleshooting
- Strong machining skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Good understanding of quality control and safety standards
- Stable work history (no frequent job changes; preferably 3+ years with one employer)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training preferred)
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines efficiently
- Program, modify, and optimize CNC machine operations
- Machine components to precise specifications and tolerances
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents
- Minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Support knowledge sharing and assist in team development when needed
