About The Position

We are seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Production Technician to join our team and play a critical role in producing high-precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and hands-on experience operating advanced CNC machinery.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating 5-axis CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Experience with quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Zimmermann 5-axis CNC machines (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Background in precision machining, aerospace, automotive, or similar industries

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision parts to specification
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
• Load, edit, and verify CNC programs as needed
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using measuring tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are operating efficiently
• Collaborate closely with engineers, programmers, and team members to improve processes and outcomes

Benefits

• Payrate: $40.14- $44.29 Hourly, depending on skill and experience
• 2nd Shift: 1:45pm-10:15pm
