About The Position

The primary purpose of this job is to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts. This role involves managing multiple machines simultaneously, operating CNC machines proficiently, and overseeing the setup and tool changes of CNC lathes and mills. The work environment is climate-controlled, features a clean room with hospital-grade cleanliness, and is described as clean, quiet, and comfortable. The position is for 2nd and 3rd shift with a 15% shift premium.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
2 - 6 years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 3 years of CNC experience or journeymen machinist.
Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints.
Ability to work with small precision parts to very close tolerances.
Capability to use basic inspection tools and techniques.
Capacity to understand and follow through with verbal or written instructions.
Good understanding of shop math.
Proficient with interpersonal relations, organization and communication skills.
