This position is responsible for setting up and adjusting CNC machines, working with the Quality department to interpret layout data, and performing equipment/maintenance checks. The role requires packaging parts off CNC machines as necessary, participating in Continuous Improvement activities, and being responsible for all machined parts on the CNC machine. The operator will also manage daily paperwork, including production sheets, parts progress reports, job traveler packets, and SPC quality sheets. This role requires working independently and as part of a team, assisting other personnel, and informing the Supervisor of any equipment or other problems. Safety is paramount, requiring the use of Proper Protective Equipment (PPE), maintaining a clean workstation, and complying with all safety policies and procedures. The role also involves participating in a collaborative environment and accepting feedback to ensure safety standards are met, as well as completing special projects and other assigned duties.
